LANDSCAPE DESIGNS - $1,500+
The design fee is quoted on and agreed to in advance. A 50% deposit is required upfront and the balance due upon final design approval. 2D landscape designs are completed in colour using DynaScape CAD landscape design software.

This is our chance to meet, for me to see your landscapes and to discuss the scope of your project. From here I provide you with a design quote detailing all aspects.

Site Analysis
When you agree to my quote, a 50% deposit is paid. I then get to work analyzing your landscape and taking measurements. If you have an updated property survey, this stage moves more quickly.

Custom Deck Design Creation
After approximately 4-8 weeks, I present to you the defined numbers of design options, you provide me with feedback, I complete revisions and deliver a final design to you. At this point, the balance of the design fee is due.

Consulting with Contractors
Should you want someone else to do the work, I will procure two Contractor quotes for you to consider which will include things like preparing the stie, amending soil, installing hardscape, planting, etc. At the same time, I can also procure a quote for your plants and arrange delivery.

Installation and Maintenance
For an additional fee, I can be on site for your installation to project manage and can place plants according to the design. A maintenance plan will be provided for each plant to ensure their best success.

For a backyard space, my design services start at $2,000. The process begins with an in-person consultations at $150. Following our consultation, I provide a detailed quote based on the size and scope of your project. A 50% deposit is required upfront to confirm our partnership with the balance owing when a final design plan is completed.

In very specific situations, I can assemble a team to execute landscaping installations. Otherwise, I work with one of my highly qualified and trusted Contractors who are able to take my design plans and ensure they are installed to the highest quality and in a timely fashion. Even in this situation, I am still available when it comes time to ordering plants and placing them according to the design plan.

Yes. Designs are created to accommodate changes in elevation. This is usually spotted through slopes of varying steepness. In the installation phase, groundwork addresses grading. Changes of elevation are addressed using retaining walls and clever planting design. With changes of elevation, it’s important to be mindful of drainage and how water is moving on your landscape.

Yes! You’ll receive a personalized Maintenance Plan covering all installed plantings and materials. I can also connect you with a Contractor knowledgeable about plants for garden maintenance.

A timeline is always dependent on the size and scope of your project as well as my own workload. I never want to rush for the sake of getting a project done quickly. Having said that, most front yard projects take between 3–8 weeks. Sometimes this is longer if permits are required.

You’re welcome to use a contractor you already trust. If you don’t have one, we can help guide you toward reputable professionals. Once construction begins, we remain available to collaborate with the contractor so you’re not stuck relaying information back and forth.
